The November–December issue of Paradise is a special APEC edition, with pages and pages of stories devoted to the biggest event to be staged in Papua New Guinea.
APEC stands for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation and culminates during November with more than 10,000 delegates and world leaders visiting the country.
Our coverage includes a special APEC welcome by the Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill, and APEC messages by the APEC Minister, Justin Tkatchenko, and PNG APEC chief executive officer, Christopher Hawkins.
This issue of Paradise is one of the biggest we’ve ever published, and it is also full of travel and lifestyle stories.
The bumper issue includes a guide to all 22 provinces in PNG, which lists the best things to see and do, as well as the best places to stay. We believe it is one of the most comprehensive guides ever put together for PNG, with many of the contributions from Papua New Guineans.
There’s also an invaluable story for APEC visitors, about the best things to do in the nation’s capital, Port Moresby, from visiting the Port Moresby Nature Park to having a sunset drink at the Royal Papua Yacht Club.
Additionally, we review Port Moresby’s Jacksons International Airport, as well as one of the city’s hottest newest restaurants.
We’re always on the look out for more local contributors. If you have a great photo that may be suitable for our ‘Big Picture’ page, or if you want to write a short story for the “My PNG” column, email us at [email protected] and we’ll get back to you with all the details.
Happy flying and reading.
